A little about me.

After more than 20 years working in the corporate market research world, I found myself fully unfulfilled. I wanted to actually help people, not figure out how to sell more to them. So I quit my job and went back to school to become a therapist. I am now a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with my own practice, Be You Therapy, in Pasadena, CA.

I started my training working with families dealing with memory issues such as Alzheimer’s Disease. Since then, I have worked with adults dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, sexual assault & other traumas, PTSD, relationship stress, consensual nonmonogamy, premarital counseling, eating disorders, grief & loss, and mid-life crisis. I love working with couples, and I am an LGBTQ+ ally.

I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and I have researched and presented on the effects of trauma related to sexual assault on college campuses in the #MeToo era. I have also assisted on a research study on chronic pain.
